About Repair Shop

Repair Shop is a one-room schoolhouse, collective art studio, and public gathering space founded by women with deep and longstanding ties to the arts ecosystem and Queer culture of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Amidst the environment of the recent closures of key universities and non-profit organizations that supported the arts and humanities in our region, Repair Shop is guided by the ethos and mission of repair through art making, the development of craft, and intergenerational, creative social interaction.

Repair Shop is fiscally sponsored by Headlands Center for the Arts (501c3).

Workshop for Two!

A $100 donation supports attendance for two at one of our various workshops: riso printing, color theory, color making, embroidery, and more.
